Lesson Notes: Please review lesson notes from Part 1 for Mock ring with beaded or button in center of ring. Part 2 for doily construction.
As you can see the doily has seads beads at the picot joins and the matte beads have been added to the larger rings of the skirt panels using the mock ring technique in a color similar to the thread as to not detract but give the doily a different look and definition by filling the rings with light from the reflection of the beads.
The edging is a simple true ring, chain and SCMR combination to add a second round and more frill to the doily and/or angel skirt with added picots for decoration.
Please note the SCMR notation showing the ring off rings made with S2 while the initial ring is made with S1. If your chains are made with encapsulation, simply substitute switch shuttle instead of reverse work after your chains and when you begin your SCMR with Rings off ring instead of the the reverse work.
